Deyes high school newsletter analysis

This is the front cover for the Deyes High newsletter. During the analysis of this front cover I discovered that it has a poor layout and is boring in its design. The reasons for this are:

• It has no colour
• There is no eye catching images
• The logo is faded
• The layout has no shape
• There is no masthead, instead a picture of the school
• It is exactly the same every month as it is of a house style
• The schools badge is the main front for the cover rather than having a headline or an attention grabbing picture

The reason why the newsletter is boring and plain is because it is more of a information booklet rather than a magazine and it is just designed to get the message across to students and more importantly parents or guardians.
